Where Stency's curiosity met Steffy's patience — and I held the door open

October. The air turned crisp. The dynamic shifted.

Stency had always been the quiet one. The observer. The one who watched Steffy and me with eyes that asked questions her mouth couldn't form. Bi-curious, she'd said once, late at night, wine-loose and vulnerable. Just... wondering. About women. About what it would feel like.

Steffy listened the way she does everything — with her whole body. Leaned in. Let her hand rest on Stency's knee. Show me, her eyes said. I'll go slow.

And I? I stood in the doorway of the bedroom, watching the chemistry rewrite itself in real time. Not jealous. Not excluded. Witness. The one who knows both their rhythms. The one who held the door open and said, without words: Come in. There's room.
